How are we honoring God on the day-to-day?
In Acts 1:3 we see how much Jesus adores us.
"During the forty days after he suffered and died, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God."
It was Jesus' intention to prove He was alive. For me, this is all it takes.
I may need reminded, and this is what He does time and time again. In a world that is broken and shattered since Eden was not enough for God's image bearer's Adam and Eve; it brought forth our fallen nature. My personal experience with Christ and explaining how His very Spirit led me to cross into the reality of a relationship and following Him in His Kingdom can puzzle me. We have to be real, but this is beautiful proof to me, How about you? Having done so, I only know the peace that came over me. The apostles followed swiftly, they were waiting on the Messiah. One day you are one way, and the next day you are another way.
In an instant. One can question what or who can do this to last eternally? Only our One True God and when you ask you will receive. God knows when you will turn to Him and will not look the other way again.
There is not another thing in this creation that has the ability to change us like God can. Life isn't easy, but honoring Him is.
It was clear as a bell from the very beginning.
The Kingdom of God is near, Jesus announced. In the loving will of the Father, the Son gave us the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:15). It is His Presence that fortifies the Kingdom. Affirmed, advanced, and strengthened in His Name. For those who have ears to hear and in the utmost the King established His reign.
These things automatically lift our hearts, minds, and spirits above the decay of the world to reside in God's heavenly realm exactly where we are.
Today and tomorrow at His table; we sit with Him. His grace is perfect and is sufficient for us! (2 Cor. 12:9) Our uncertaintly, suffering, heart-break, grief, and all that befalls us can not take away what our future holds. Eternal righteousness beholding joy and victory.
New mercies, compassion, and grace lead us. Sit with me in this everyday.
With the sweet Love of Christ friends,
Kristie xoxo
